Barrel Aged Week 2018

A whole week of incredible releases from Minnesota’s original home for barrel-aged beer.

The week begins at 10am on Sunday, February 18th, with the pre-sale for this year’s selection of 750mL mini-growlers of barrel-aged beer, and continues with new barrel-aged releases every day from Monday-Saturday.

Sunday, February 18th | 10am

750ml Growler Pre-Sale | If you’re looking to take home this year’s barrel-aged releases, this is your chance! Tickets go on sale at 10am; beers can be picked up once they are released on tap.

Monday, February 19th | 5pm

Barrel Crew Selections

Project 3106 | Belgian-style bruin with Belgian dark chocolate and kumquats, aged in bourbon barrels.
E.T. Wee | Scottish-style wee heavy aged in bourbon barrels.
Star Barrel | Single-Barrel Twisted Trace | A very special barrel of Twisted Trace, our American barleywine aged in bourbon barrels, stood out from the crowd during tastings this year. While we weren’t planning to offer any particular single-barrel beers this year, this one practically demanded to be the star of the show—and so we acquiesced. This is our only Star Barrel this year. Will there be others in the future? The barrels will decide.

Tuesday, February 20th | 5pm Releases, 7pm Dinner

Barrel Dinner (SOLD OUT) | A coursed meal paired with barrel-aged beers, presented by our Brewmaster Mike Hoops and Chef Michael Hanson. Reservation only. $99 per person (includes food, drinks, tax, and gratuity).

Vine’s Eye | Strong American honey ale aged in French oak red wine barrels.
Barley Vine | American barleywine aged in French oak red wine barrels.
Frosted Vine | Imperial stout aged in French oak red wine barrels.

Wednesday, February 21st | 5pm

Strawberry Stave | Strong dark wheat ale with strawberries, aged in bourbon barrels.
Kentucky Truffle | Chocolate milk stout aged in bourbon barrels.

Thursday, February 22nd | 5pm

Foolish Angel | Belgian-style quadrupel aged in bourbon barrels.
Manhattan Reserve | Belgian-style Grand Cru with tart cherries, aged in bourbon barrels.

Friday, February 23rd | 5pm

Buffalo Bock | German-style Weizenbock aged in bourbon barrels.

Saturday, February 24th | 11am

Czar Jack | The grandaddy of them all. Imperial stout aged in American white oak whiskey barrels.
